Recently, Horizon Robotics held its 2025 product launch event in Shanghai, introducing its L2 urban assisted driving system - Horizon HSD. This not only showcased its leading technological strength but also profoundly interpreted the industrial development trend of the accelerated popularization of automotive intelligence, making it a vanguard of the Shanghai Auto Show. Horizon Journey 6P, as the technical foundation, provides powerful and rich computing resources for the urban driver assistance system (HSD). Build the foundation of assisted driving technology with outstanding performance and reliability


Today, intelligent technologies such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), intelligent human-machine interaction, and in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems are profoundly revolutionizing the automotive driving experience. In this transformation, Horizon HSD is emerging as a new solution for building a new generation of urban assisted driving.
The Journey 6P computing solution equipped on HSD is designed for the next-generation urban assisted driving, integrating rich computing resources such as CPU, GPU, and MCU, with a computing power of up to 560 TOPS. A single chip can support the full-stack computing tasks of urban assisted driving. Arm technology injects powerful computing power support into the Journey 6P solution, enabling it to efficiently handle complex algorithms and real-time data tasks. Among them, the functional safety design of Arm Cortex-A78AE covers a hybrid critical architecture, hardware-level safety mechanisms, and core splitting and step-locking technologies, which can efficiently meet the safety requirements of assisted driving. These features not only build a high-performance and highly reliable technical foundation for Horizon Journey 6P, but also facilitate the evolution of assisted driving technology towards efficiency and safety.

Horizon HSD will be launched globally on the Exeed brand as an advanced solution of Chery's "Falcon", along with the Journey 6P computing solution, and is scheduled to enter mass production in September 2025. To date, Horizon has achieved over 8 million sets of pre-installation mass production and shipment, more than 200 mass-produced and launched models, and over 310 mass-produced and designated models, accompanying over 5 million car owners on safe and pleasant travels.


Behind this set of impressive data, Arm technology has provided strong support. From the Journey 2 to Journey 6 series of assisted driving computing solutions, Horizon Robotics has maintained close technical cooperation with Arm, empowering multiple models from manufacturers including SAIC, Chery, BYD, GAC, Geely, Volkswagen, Li Auto, and NIO. It is worth mentioning that the new model of NIO's Firefly brand, equipped with Horizon's Journey computing solution, has been officially launched recently and has become a highlight of this year's Shanghai Auto Show. This year, Arm will also launch the Automotive Computing Subsystem (CSS), providing pre-integrated and verified AE IP configurations for the partner ecosystem, further optimizing performance, power consumption and chip area.
